Black cherries and dried cranberries form a fresh and fruity base. Cinnamon, mace and cardamom develop on the mid palate and a juicy of morello cherry tartness adds line and length to the wine. A full-flavoured red wine that is still fresh, fruity and youthful. This wine will stand up well to a range of strongly flavoured barbeque meats such as steak, lamb or Chevapchichi sausages. Alternatively, try it with grilled portobello mushrooms, a strong cheddar or your favourite blue.
