This wine is an elegant rose from a single vineyard in Eden Valley - 95% Sangiovese & 5% Grenache which is a sensory masterpiece that mothers simply adore!
The grapes from a small parcel of Eden Valley Sangiovese was pressed directly off skins to achieve the desired blush pink colour, before cold-settling for 48 hours. Fermenting at cool temperatures with a small number of solids, allowed a beautiful textural and perfumed wine to be created. Finally, this Sangiovese was fermented dry, and then filtered and bottled early to preserve freshness.
Colour: Pale pink in colour.
Aroma: Strawberries and rose petals.
Palate: Ripe strawberries, accompanied by delicate citrus fruits and rose petals with a dry mineral finish.
Food Pairing: This is an absolute knockout with red sauce pasta like spaghetti and meatballs or try with a creamy mushroom risotto.
