A superb value wine for its rich and sweet ‘muscaty’ and raisin flavours with the lightness and freshness of the foundation Rutherglen style. Perfect in summer over ice.
Deep orange amber.
Floral aromas of crushed rose petal, lavender and orange blossom.
It displays fresh, bright raisin characteristics, clean spirit with subtle oak. Great length.
- Winemaking Notes
Fruit is allowed to ripen naturally before a brief fermentation and fortification with high strength neutral spirit. Wines are then aged in large oak casks. A portion of several years is blended to create a ‘complete’ wine.
- Food Pairing
Rose infused baklava or a Turkish delight tart with chocolate pastry.
