Sweet and luscious muscat with a complex palate and a lingering finish. The Classic Rutherglen style displays a greater level of complexity and richness with the perfect balance of young, fresh material and older, more developed parcels of wine. Distinct ‘rancio’ characters are imparted from the seasoned wood used in the winery.

Like dark, caramelised butter.
- Nose
Aromas of Turkish delight, tobacco and espresso.

- Winemaking Notes
The Muscat grapes were crushed and fermented on skins for only a day. Fermentation was stopped using high strength grape spirit and then the clarified wine is transferred to large old oak for 2 - 3 year barrels to mature. Following this parcels are then carefully blended and returned to smaller oak barrels to reach the desired style and average age
- Food Pairing
Rich chocolate tart with raspberry coulis.
