Leura Park Estate Rose is a fragrant, complex and elegant cool climate Rose. A 50/50 blend of Shiraz and Pinot Noir from Estate vineyards, the wine exhibits freshness, verve and intense flavour. It’s vibrant and perfumed, revealing red berries, pink pepper and hints of spice. Intensely aromatic, rich and complex with a savoury twist.
Estate grown and predominantly hand picked at the Bellarine Peninsula, Geelong. Looks serious, smells and tastes serious, too, with ripe raspberry, poached strawberry, pomegranate scents. Deeply expressive on the palate with a strong fruit intensity and vigorous acidity. Red fruits, summer pudding nicely joined by a delightful spiciness and earthiness. Super dry finish.
Colour: Deep salmon in colour, dark for a rose.
Aroma: Exhibits freshness and fruitiness - strawberries, watermelon and guava.
Palate: Intense in flavour, the palate unleashes a burst of red fruits - strawberry, raspberry and ripe apple - perfectly embraced by cleansing acidity and dry, savoury tannins.
Food Pairing: Pairs well with grilled or baked fish or even sushi.
