Colour: Ruby Red with a light violet hue.

Aroma: Lifted and layered aromas of blackberry, bramble, cedar, pencil shavings, eucalyptus and graphite.

Palate: Lashings of blackcurrant, mulberry, cassis, spice and a lifted, leafy mintiness. The tannins are textured, layered and shapely and the acidity delivers plenty of life and crunch.

Food Pairing: The robust flavours of this wine pair nicely with a range of red meat and hearty mushroom dishes. Try pairing with roast lamb, T-Bone steak or a mushroom stroganoff. Strong cheese like an aged cheddar or possibly gouda would also work well.
